This is the perfect gift for my life long best friend! It lights up so pretty and the words are so clear even when not lit, but when lit, it is perfectly clear. And it gives off the warmest, prettiest glow. The base is nice and sturdy and the plug in is very simple and easy to use. The plexiglass style is nice so if it gets knocked over, it would be hard to break. It was packaged so nice and easy to wrap for her birthday. I love this so much, I bought the sister one and the grandpa one, as well.
