As the family cook, I'm embarrassed to admit how many shirts I've ruined over the years because I splattered them with oil and/or food while cooking. My wife correctly pointed out (she actually yelled it at me a few times too) that it would be a lot cheaper to wear an apron than to keep replacing shirts. We have 4 other aprons but they're all cheap, ill-fitting, and old as dirt (which is why I didn't want to wear them). So I tried this one and I love it.
